Forteen days ago a container ship was loaded at the Port of Oakland and today it is being unloaded on the other side of the world at the Port of Haifa, Israel. In spite of the great distances that separate both ports, the employees of both ports perform similar duties, loading and unloading containers from the ship. As the world increases the rate of international trade, there is a great need of trained staff to handle the import/export functions at the local level.
